The PERMA Siesta can be fitted directly to the window casement or to the wall above the window.The design is suitable for applications where an awning is required that can be easily controlled from inside
or outside, such as for private houses, offices, hospitals, schools etc.The awning is operated by a Terylene tape, secured by a selflocking device that engages as soon as the
tape is released.Alternatively, a gear drive can be provided.Both internal and external operations are available.A special offset fitting enables an awning wider than the window to be fitted, while still allowing the operating
tape to pass through the casement.Electric operation is also available, and can be complemented by automatic solar and wind controls.Several awnings can be connected together in series.
